Techlog is a wellbore and petrophysical interpretation platform used to analyze, visualize, and integrate subsurface data for formation evaluation and reservoir characterization. It brings together well logs, core measurements, image logs, and test data in a single workspace, helping teams improve data quality and make consistent, auditable interpretations.

Key capabilities include:

  • Data QC and preprocessing: curve editing, depth matching, environmental corrections, and multi-well data management.
  • Petrophysical interpretation: porosity, permeability, mineralogy/lithology, fluid typing, and saturation modeling, with crossplots and uncertainty analysis.
  • Advanced workflows: NMR and image-log processing, facies analysis, saturation-height functions, and geomechanical property estimation including stress and pore-pressure indicators.
  • Automation and reporting: repeatable workflows, scripting for task automation, customizable templates, and publication-ready plots and summaries.
  • Integration: interoperable with common subsurface and reservoir tools to support end-to-end geological and engineering workflows.

Techlog is used by petrophysicists, geologists, and reservoir engineers across oil and gas, geothermal, and carbon storage projects to accelerate decisions and improve interpretation consistency.

Techlog is developed by Schlumberger and is used by 1 user of Software Informer. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 16.2, 17.2, 18.1, 18.2 and 19.1. The names of program executable files are techlog.exe, Techlog64.exe.
